GE FanucIC693PWR322Fis a 24 / 48 VDC standard power supply. The standard unit does not include a battery and is designed to operate at a nominal b of 12V DC or 48V DC with an output power of 30 watts. The unit can be installed in a standard power slot through any ic693 PLC substrate. Although it can maintain all outputs (within specification) when the b voltage is as low as 18 VDC, it will not start at an initial b voltage lower than 21 VDC. The power supply provides three independent outputs. These are the + 5VDC, + 24VDC relay outputs used to power the circuits on any ic693 relay output module and the + 24VDC isolated power supply for the b module.

When using this power supply, users can calculate power requirements specific to their application. To do this, you first need to determine the total output load by checking the specifications listed in the ic693 PLC installation and hardware manual. This will display the specifications of each module. The total output load shall be multiplied by 1.5 to determine the b power value. To calculate the b current requirements, divide the b power by the operating supply voltage. Since the operating supply voltage may vary, you should use the lowest measured or estimated b voltage to determine the maximum b current. The operator perbing this calculation shall also consider the starting surge current requirements and allow a variation margin of 10-20%
